    The diagram below shows how geothermal energy is used to produce electricity.

    Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

     

    Process report structure

    1. introduction- paraphrase the question

    This given graph demonstrates how the geothermal power plant operates to produce electricity.
    2. Overview - point out key feature

    Overall, the whole process consists of several stages, starting with hitting cold waters using hot rocks in the geothermal zone and finishing with producing electrocity by running turbine. 
    3. Detail1 

    The first process is pumping down the cold water into geothermal zone through 4.5km deep injection well to reach hot rocks. In the subsequent stage, While the water is passing through the hot rocks, the temperture of waters has gradually increased to the point it is boiled. 
    4. Detail2 Following that step, the hot water pumps up via the production well going back to the ground. Since it is cooler than it used to be in geothermal area and condensor is operated, water vaporated to steam, by which turbine is powered. In the last stage, the turbine powers generators to finanlly create electrocity.

    • "the temperture of waters has gradually increased" → "the temperature of the water gradually increases."
    • "Since it is cooler than it used to be" → 문맥상 어색한 표현입니다.
    • "electrocity" → "electricity"
    • "temperture" → "temperature"
    • "finanlly" → "finally"
    • 프로세스를 설명할 때, 단계가 뚜렷하게 구분되고 논리적으로 연결되어야 함. Ex. 접속사(First, Next, Then 등)를 추가해 더 명확히 하기!
    • 문장의 구조를 다양하게 만들기. 현재 문장 대부분이 주어-동사-목적어 구조로 되어 있으므로 복합문과 수동태를 적절히 활용!!

    Overall, the operation involves multiple stages, beginning with the injection of cold water into the geothermal zone and concluding with the production of electricity using a turbine and generator.

     

    Initially, cold water is injected into the injection well, which extends 4.5 killometers underground to reach the geothermal zone. In this zone, hot rocks transfer heat to the water, causing its temperature to rise significantly. Once the water is heated, it is pumped back to the surface through the production well.

     

    At the surface, the hot water passes through a condenser, where it transforms into stream. This stream drives a turbine, which is connected to a generator. Finally, the generator produces electricity that can be distributed for use.

    -> Overall, geothermal energy production involves five stages which are sub-divided into the underground and above ground phases.
    3. Detail1 

    The first process is pumping down the cold water into a geothermal zone area through 4.5km deep injection well to reach hot rocks. In the subsequent stage, while the water passes through the hot rocks, the temperture of waters has gradually increased to its boiling point. 
    -> First, the production of geothermal energy starts with cold water pumped 4.5km down the earth via the injection well through to the Geothermal zone where hot rocks are located. As the hot rocks heat up the Cold water, is then channeled into the Production well. Thenceforth, the Hot water is pumped upward to the Condenser chambers above ground. 
    4. Detail2 Following that step, the hot water pumps up via the production well going back to the ground.
    -> The hot water is then pumped up by the production well.
    Since it is cooler than it used to be in geothermal area and condensor is operated, water vaporated to steam, by which turbine is powered. In the last stage, the turbine powers generators to finanlly create electrocity. 
    -> It is received by the condenser where the steam is produced. After that it is sent to power the turbine to move. As the turbine moves, it creates energy to operate the generator which produces electricity. Lastly, the generated electricity goes to the electric grid for distribution. 
    -> Next, at the Condenser chambers, Steam is produced from the Hot air emitted from the earth and travels through the Turbines. At the tubine level, the steam is made to spin and passes through an outlet into the Generator that is located next to the turbines.

    Finally, the Generator that is powered by the Turbine produces electricity that is then sent to the electric grid for distribution.
