Task 1 map

 

The maps below show a university campus at present and in the future, after some planned changes. 

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

 

The given maps illustrate the university campus current layout and planned new campus design.

 

Overall, several changes will be made. New buildings will be consturucted and some will be demolished, renovated, and replaced.

 

At a cursory glance, several buildings and some roads will be added. 

In more detail, Genetics Building 2 and Bio-imaging Building will be built replacing the forest. (The forest will be cleared to give room to new buildings; Genetics Building 2 and Bio-imaging Building.)

A concrete road in the middle of the campus will be removed and a new one will be placed on the bottom. Additionally, the footpath will be extended, dividing the East and the West.

 

However, the Biochemistry Building, Staff parking on the north-eastern part of the campus and labs will maintain their locations and will only receive renovations. The only remaining untouched buildings are the lab on the left and the Genetic building on the right.
