Day 1-2 ) part 2IELTS/Speaking 2024. 10. 18. 11:41
Do you think people of all ages need to read?
Yes, I believe reading is important for people of all ages.It helps children develop their imagination and gain knowledge.
For adults, reading keeps their minds active and informed.
Even for older adults, reading can be beneficial as it keeps their minds sharp and provides a meaningful way to spend time.
What are the differences between paper books and movies?
The main difference is that paper books provide more details and allow you to use your imagination, while movies present everything visually. In books, you have the time to explore the characters and the story at your own pace, but in movies, the pace is much faster.
Also, movies are usually shorter, so you can finish them quickly, while books often take more time to read.
What reading topics are popular in your country?
In my country, people enjoy a wide range of topics. Some popular ones are self-help books and personal development books because they want to improve their skills. Novels and essays are also very popular. Recently, there’s been a growing interest in health and fitness topics as well.Is reading for fun or for work?
I think it can be both. Some people read to relax and enjoy themselves, like when they read novels.
Others read for work, especially when they need to stay updated in their own field.
For example, professionals like doctors or engineers might read a lot to stay informed about the latest developments.
Do you think parents should help their children develop the reading habit from an early age?
Yes, absolutely.I think if children start reading early, it becomes a habit, and they will likely enjoy it as they grow older.
It helps improve their language skills and stimulates their creativity.
Parents can encourage this by reading to their children or taking them to the library.
Why are many people so keen on reading?
I think many people enjoy reading because it’s a way to learn new things and escape reality. Some read to relax, while others do it because they love stories or want to explore topics they’re passionate about.
It’s also a productive and enjoyable way to pass the time.
