    IELTS/Writing 2024. 6. 20. 22:50

고용에 있어서 중요한 요소, 성 비율, 리더십 또는 직업 관련 스킬 주제를 출제함.

    Common ideas

    1. The important aspects in employment

-Formal qualification - academic transcript(성적표), graduation certificate(졸업증), qualification related to the workers' fleids(직업군과 관련된 자격=라이센스 같은 것)

-Social skills-empathy(공감), co-operation (team-working), verbal and written communication skills, listening to others, non-verbal communication skills - body language, face expression.

-Leadership-equal delegation of tasks, managing others, scheduling, etc.

-Background of an employee - what kind of life experiences one had, what kind of qualification one obtained.

    2. The distribution of senior positions equally to different gender

Necessary - female employees still experience glass ceilings in organizations. There are limited changes for them to be promoted as a senior position. By giving them more chances, other female workers will be more encouraged to work hard and can work in an environment that is suitable for them.

Unnecessary - such policy can be impractical as people in senior positions should be examined carefully with a strict standard concerning qualification, personal qualities and work experience.

    3. Leadership

    Generation

    -Old generation vs young generation

-old people generally have more experiences in their field / have authority, which is demanded for leading others, are good at decision making.

-Young people are more dynamic, forward-thinking so that they can adapt new technology or practices needed for their organisations, more open to communicate with their employees.

    The acquisition of leadership skills

-Some people are born to be leaders with outstanding skills for leading and managing others, usually good at solving problems, and have good insight.

-Leadership skills can be developed through training (courses) and hands-on experiences in relavant fields.

    Questions

Employers nowadays put more emphasis on social skills. Some people believe that social skills are important in addition to good qualifications for job success. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Today's employers consider social skills are as important as qualifications. To achieve success in career, having good social skills and qualification is vital. I firmly agree with this view as I believe that interpersonal skills play an important role in employment.

I firmly agree with this view as I believe that interpersonal skills play an significant role in employment.

To begin with, having adequate qualifications is essential to succeed in career. First and foremost, greater work efficiency can be guaranteed by people who have obtained qualifications. In most cases, employees with outstanding qualifications are more productive in workplaces as

-Agree: Social skills are as important as qualifications.

In most cases, employees with outstanding qualifications are more productive in workplaces. This means that they are willing to learn new skills, showing better attitudes in learning and learn faster than others. It leads them to achieve greater productivity.

+ Some practical skills can be acquired through qualifications.

The leaders of directors of organisations are often older people. However, some people sa y that young people can also be a leader. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

While the older generation is often responsible for leading and directing organisations, some people say that the younger generation can also take on this role. I strongly agr ee with this view because I believe that the qualification to be a leader is not age, but

    leadership skills and other characteristics.

To begin with, the old people usually fit in the leader positions. Firstly, It is necessary for leaders to have various experiences, which are usually possessed with the older as they live longer then the young people. In addition, the older people have more autho rity which is needed to lead and manage others. The more people there are in organiz

ations, the more authority and structured hierarchy that make them solid is vital. Plus, the older usually have a sense of responsibility which is needed to lead others effectiv ely and efficiently.

In contrast, young people can be leaders irrespective of their age. Firstly, young peopl e can develop their leadership skills through training and practical experience. In additi on, young leaders tend to be more up to date and in touch with the modern world, su ch as being able to adapt easily to new technology and keeping up with the latest up dates. Finally, they are more open to new ideas because they dynamic and forward-thinking which lead organizations to challenge and develop.

In conclusion, although it is usually the older people who occupy the leadership role in organisations, I believe that the younger people can be a leader if they have sufficient skills and qualities. Therefore, people who want to be a leader need to try with efforts to build their skills.
