In my country, soccer is really popular. I'm not entirely sure why, but I think a big part of it is because of the legendary player Ji-sung Park. Ever since he became a star and played for MAnchester United, a lot of young boys grew up dreaming of becoming professional soccer players themselves, I remember how, when we were little, boys would always be outside playing soccer. They all looked up to Ji-sung Park as a role model and wanted to be like him. So I think that's one reason why soccer is such a huge part of our culture.
Since it's confidential, we usually rip this paper in half and half thoroughlySince it has my personal information on it, I usually tear it up thoroughly to prevent any potential data leaks.
Because it has confidential information like my name and address, I usually make sure to shred or tear it up completely.
I always make sure to destroy or shred papers with my personal information on them, just to be safe.
Crawl. 크롤 crawl across
Last night, I saw a little spider crawling across my bed. I was so freaked out that I screamed and immediately asked my older sister to kill it for me. She came and took care of it while I watched from a safe distance.
+ Even though spiders are pretty small, there's just something about them that makes them way creepier then other bugs. I really can't stand them! 넘넘넘ㄴ싫어!!!
I live separately from my parents 부모님과 따로 살아요. because of work., so I actually live with my sisters instead. It's been pretty fun, and we get along well, but I still try to visit my parents from time to time.
I've never gone to the stadium to watch the game live ( see the match in person). I just love going to the pub to watch the game with other fans. The atmosphere there is amazing and soccer really brings people together.
Soccer has a way of uniting people, especially when everyone cheers and celebrates a goal together at the pub.
Baseball is also popular sport in Korea, and I think a big reason for that is the uniqure culture at the stadiums. People can eat whatever they want while they watch the game, and it's even possible to have a barbecue right there! It creates watching baseball game and going to stadium really fun and lively atmosphere that everyone loves, which is why baseball has become such a big part of our culture. so even if I'm not really a baseball fan, I can still go to the stadium and enjoy the atmosphere.
Teakwondo classes are really popular as well. They help kids become physically stronger, and they also learn important values like respect and courtesy from the instructors. These vales are the main themes of Teakwondo. Plus, it is really common for kids to take classes with friends who were around the same age, which makes a great way to build social skills. That's why it is such a common sport for elementary school students here.
Another trend in learning sports is figure skating. Yuna-Kim is an iconic figure-skating star, and because of her, many of us grew up dreaming of becoming like that princess gliding across the ice. As a result, figure skating has become a popular sport for kids and teenagers in Korea.
I feel like I'm too old to start learning figure staking because it requires a lot of flexibility and is usually considered something to start at a very young age.
