A blessing in disguise: 전화위복, 뜻밖의 축복, 불행 속 숨은 행운

  Losing that job was a blessing in disguise; it pushed me to start my own business, which turned out to be very successful. 그 직장을 잃은 것이 오히려 좋은 일이었다. 그게 날 새 사업을 시작하게 하고 그게 정말 성공적이게 되었거든. 

 Quitting my job at that moment, turned out to be a blessing in disguise; it gave me the opportunity to study abroad at an afforable cost. 그때 직장을 그만둔것이 오히려 좋은 일이었어. 적절한 가격으로 외국에서 공부할 기회를 주었거든. 

 

A dime a dozen/ Ten a penny 매우 저렴하거나 흔한 것 -> 아무렇게나 흔하게 볼 수 있는 것, 별 가치가 없는 것. 

In this city, coffee shops are ten a penny.

Nurses are a dime a dozen these days.

 

Better late than naver. 늦더라도 하는게 시작하는 게 낫다.

I’ve decided to become a nurse again. Better late than never—I believe it's never too late to pursue what truly fulfills me.

Getting a job has become really difficult, but I've decided to bite the bullet and keep pushing forward.

Though finding a job has become tough, I’ve chosen to bite the bullet and stay determined.
